Aproximativ 35 de persoane au fost evacuate, preventiv, dintr-un bloc de pe strada Nicolae Bălcescu, după ce un branșament de gaze a fost avariat.
Oamenii au fost alertați de pompieri și au ieșit imediat din case.
La fața locului s-au deplasat pompierii din cadrul Detașamentului Giurgiu cu două autospeciale de stingere, o descarcerare, un echipaj SMURD și o ambulanță SAJ.

O femeie, în vârstă de 73 de ani, a fost monitorizată de personalul medical al SAJ.
Furnizarea cu gaz a fost oprită în zonă pentru remedierea problemei.
Pompierii au asigurat măsurile de prevenire și stingere a incendiilor până la sosirea echipajelor de la societatea de furnizare a gazelor.
